There are two computer stations set up in the Perkins Museum so that visitors can dig deeper into the school’s rich history. The site contains extensive biographies on Perkins luminaries Samuel Gridley Howe, Helen Keller, and others; a historical look at campus academics and activities; background on the foundations of deafblind education as well as the first kindergarten for the blind; and some of the programs and service offerings that carry Perkins into the 21st century.

The Perkins Museum Web site also serves as a photo album, containing dozens of old photos. In addition, there are a few campus films from the 1930s and 1940s that you’ll be able to watch from the Web site soon. Be sure to check back for more details.
